2012 - 2013 Registration

Welcome to Charlotte Wood Middle School registration

Registration after August 28 can ONLY be done in the office during office hours. Any changes to your contact details MUST be given to the office staff, they will make the changes into the District/school system and is the ONLY way to update your students Emergency Card.

Almost all of your student's Registration can be done online. You are, however, still required to attend one of the two Registration Walk-Through days because the SRVUSD requires an Emergency Card, and a few other SRVUSD/CWMS forms (which must be signed by both a parent/guardian and the student) before the first day of school. You will also pickup necessary items, such as PE clothes, school planner, etc in person during Registration.

Please note that this is the CWMS Registration. For new students the ENROLEMENT into the District and placement in CWMS MUST take place BEFORE the CWMS Registration. This ONLINE system also does NOT replace the Districts/schools contact information system. You must also contact the school if your details have changed (at Registration use the Emergency Card to make these changes).

The ONLINE Registration will walk you through all required documenation and will allow you to add your PTA directory data, signup for PTA/Charger Fund/CWMS volunteer opportunities and make ONLINE registration donations/payments to Charger Fund, PTA and CWMS.

STEP 1:
The hard-copy Emergency card must be picked up at the CWMS office between
Monday August 13 and Thursday August 16, 8:00AM-3:00PM.  Another person may pickup your Emergency Card for you. That person will need to signoff that they did so. If you do not  pickup your Emergency card between 8/13 and 8/16, you can do so at Registration, but your student will need to come to Registration with you, because he/she must sign the Emergency Card and some SRVUSD/CWMS forms. If you picked up your Emergency Card you will not need to stop at the 'Emergency Card pick up' Station.

STEP 2:
Complete the ONLINE Registration. This can be done without the Emergency Card. You will need to complete the entire process (which should take less the 30 minutes) and print out your registration summary and any other madatory forms instructed to do so by the Registration system. Bring summary and forms to the Registration Walk-Through day. If you do not register online or do not print the forms you can do so during Registration at the 'Laptop/Forms' Station, this will slow down your registration process. It is highly recommended that you print your forms and donate BEFORE you come to registration.

Yearbooks and 8th Grade Baby-Ads are only available for purchase online. Links to PTA flyers and information are located on the left, and links to CWMS and SRVUSD flyers and information are located on the right and below.

STEP 3:
Attend one of the two Registration Walk-Through days.
Thursday, August 16, 3:30PM-7:30PM (MPR)
Wednesday, August 22, 3:30PM-7:30PM (MPR)

Your student will NOT receive their schedule at Charger Camp or the first day of school and will NOT be allowed to attend class unless they have registered.

If you cannot attend one of the above days, please pickup the Emergency Card and complete the ONLINE Registration ahead of time and have a friend register your students. Make sure all forms are printed and signed and if you did not pay/donate online send 3 signed checks (to Charger Fund, PTA and CWMS).

Spirit Wear is only available for purchase during the Registration Walk-Through days. Bring your credit card or check to order Spirit Wear.
